Marathon Computer of Nashville has turned a few heads at this years' NAMM Summer Session. Featured at their booth in the "Technology Central" section of the expo was the widely popular GRack, the elegant and well designed hardware for rackmounting your whole B&W G3 sideways, and a new product for rackmounting the Apple 15" Studio Display. The latter is just as thoughtfully designed with the Apple tilt and pivot taken into consideration.

The all aircraft aluminum hardware of the GRack mounts to the B&W G3 by simply removing the computers' polycarbonate handles at top, bottom, front & back and replacing them with the rackmount hardware. The computer rests on it's sides in the rack and may be pulled out forward from rack to allow utilization of Apple's brilliant access door from above. It's basically an 8 screw install and it works very well.

GRack, according to company spokespersons, has gained a lot of sales momentum and product interest is up.

Big advantages to the GRack, as well as the Studio Display rack device, are they require minimal alteration of and does not require removing any thing from inside the original units. Also, the cost of racking your "BlueStuff" whole is substantially less expensive than alternative steel or aluminum replacement cases, including those from Marathon.
