What did we tell ya'? - MAGMA and MOTU Announce "Killer" Mobile Audio Workstation!
Allright all of you daydream believers, testing has shown that MOTU products work at full capability with MAGMA's 4 Slot CardBus PCI Expansion System. According to Dave Roberts of MOTU, who recently completed a road trip with this versatile mobile system under his arm, "the 4 Slot MAGMA is an excellent machine. Bench tests so far have produced the following results: 24 tracks of 16 or 24 bit record to internal or external drive with no problems at all."

Roberts' testing configuration: Pismo PowerBook, 500MHz G3 CPU with 256 mg RAM,13 gig IDE drive, OS 9.0.2. along with MOTU Digital Performer 2.61 and MOTU 2408mkII. Also important to note this setup only works with the latest G3 PowerBook ("Pismo")
